Those were the days my friends, when Sonic was just starting out as Mario's rival, the cool hedgehog with the attitude...these were the days when the Genesis console kicked ass (it still does for me, I have it ;D) February 2006 will mark 15 years of it. Any thoughts?

Mario can shove his plunger up his ass. Sonic is better, and to this day, still is. I hope Nintendo includes Sonic & Shadow in SSB3...then it would be interesting...

My bad. I forgot...bringing things from the future into the past can screw up the universe.

And what was up with not being able to spindash in the first Sonic? I mean hey, I was still a pro at breaking walls, u just had to build up speed and hold down, but still, the spindash is way more convenient.

Oh yeah, I remember that. It made me laugh that Sonic couldn't spin-dash.

I guess Sonic Team hadnt thought of it...originally Sonic was meant to pick up objects and hurl them at enemies, but the system lagged too much. Im glad he came out the way he did though.

Egh, I don't even want to think of it...if the outcome was like THAT there probably wouldn't be Shadow...

With an outcome like that Sonic would die and join all the other losers who never made it...
