This is what I really think of Zero Virus's mods. If you don't know what Zero Virus is, then you don't need to worry.
First off: About a month or so ago, Frozt, one of the members of Zero Virus, at the time had pulled the "last straw" where I had banned him because he both acted like a hothead and pissed me off at the time. While I'm on good terms with Frozt now, NMMZ (a moderator of ZV) unbanned him graciously, giving ME a reprimand for what was, inevitably, an exercise of proper justice. Later on, I was technically tried for banning Frozt, having to explain myself. I had no choice but to let him use Kate-Chan's (former ZV moderator) account to gain access to the Staff Chatroom. The mods, after the whole ordeal, claimed that I had "done a terrible terrible wrong" even though I believe the polar opposite. Had I simply asked, they would not have agreed, and instead said "why are you on his side now?" and would have utterly denied my claim. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO TRY.
The worst part is, in that event, Ne0 (still a global mod of ZV) got away scot-free, even though he was the one who had managed to use his power to "hack" Kate-Chan's account and change the password. He only provided the password to me. It is AT THIS POINT that I was apparantly TO BLAME for the damages caused. I had no involvement in such, other than Ne0 simply gave me the password. If anything, Ne0 is the one who should be punished, not me.
"Ne0 should have been able to trust Fus, they're both staff. But since he gave the pass to you, that was the bad deed." Are you kidding me? That phrase makes no sense whatsoever. They label Ne0 as the bad guy yet say that they placed the blame on me instead so Ne0's own butt could be covered from the "truth" of this "conspiracy." Worse yet the mods deemed I & Frozt "criminals of ZV" because we had, apparantly: Hacked the boards to gain access to an administrator account, and vandalized the pointless threads. What a crock of s**t! I told them what happened, and they still didn't listen. I ended up taking flak for one of Ne0's decisions. WHY? Let's just continue before I make flagrant accusations.
Now, more recently, NMMZ moved the Pointless Thread on ZV into the Forum Games section. This not only enraged me, but it also broke tradition as well. They were not just "that canned foodming mindlessly" they were doing what the pointless thread did best: being pointless. SO WHAT if someone goes "lolomg postcount +1"? That's a pointless post. IT FITS WITHIN THE CRITERIA OF THE POINTLESS THREAD! It was moved there for an entire day? Why a day? Why not the whole f***ing year? Or just the rest of Zero Virus' life? I KNOW it's not going to go higher than NMMZ's "standards." Certain rules ARE omitted, but since when were the rules that were in place, aside from no double-posting, actually enforced? I thought the moderation of ZV was "as long as you don't screw up too bad we won't harm you" not "these are the rules, go by them or die."
Much MORE recently was the MSN convo with NMMZ I had when I confronted him about the pointless threads. He had the nerve to say that I was a, and I quote, "troublemaker, who questions my every action." Since when did I LIVE to cause trouble? Since WHEN did I question everything he did? I only question the stuff that just doesn't seem right in my view. How come I take all the flak for it? I really do sense favoritism here. Tony's went up in the staff, Renegade and SPeX are now staff, and I get fired from my staff position without even as much as a small honor from the days. I feel like I did NOTHING with them. When I tried to do something, such as draw a line for moderation, they outlawed my decisions (which were, in my view, well thought out) and also somewhat scolded me for even trying to adust the moderation to a more suitable level.
NOW the blatent accusations:
I feel that NMMZ is playing favorites far too much. The addition of Renegade & SPeX to the staff, as well as the scot-free getaway of Ne0, the unbanning of Frozt, and MY removal from the staff all point to favoritism. Renegade I can see why, but SPeX is NOWHERE near moderator position IMO. He had that long period where he was not on ZV at all, and even then he's proven to not even care about his position. Top it off, he's on VACATION! What good's a newly elected mod who just went on vacation? And why the hell was I fired, again? Oh wait, "because Ne0 should have trusted me" and being a "security threat to ZV." It was JUST ONE PASSWORD. How the hell would I be able to hack a database? I don't even know how to hack Halo!
If anything, NMMZ is the primary candidate responsible. I and Ztrl agree that he must live in a world where there are no such things called 'problems.' Why do I say NMMZ's responsible? Because he's the one that really pushed forth all the decisions that were placed upon me. I feel that I'm being unjustly treated, and will seek whatever action is necessary to present some kind of change to ZV.
The reason why I posted it HERE instead of on ZV is because I didn't want the ZV mods getting their hands on this, locking the topic, and disposing of it while walking away whistling as if nothing happened.
