In the year 2025, Miles "Tails" Prower was killed and his brain was used to create Mobius' first complete and stable cyborg police officer, Cy-Fox. It was created by the Omni Consumer Products coporation's Mobius subsidary (At this time, OCP had gone bankrupt on Earth after the events of RoboCop 2. What happened in RoboCop 3 does not take place in this timeline) from the construction files of RoboCop, OCP Crime Prevention Unit 001. RoboCop's armor casing was a Kevlar and Titanium hybrid alloy. However this casing type would not be effective to this time. Cy-Fox's armor casing is made of a Titanium and Tungsten (Ti-W) alloy.
It uses a more complex targeting system which takes information from the visual receptors behind Miles' eye sockets and analyzes the target with a Floating Point Processing Unit (FPU) otherwise known as a math co-processor. (In real world computer terms, after the Intel Pentium chipset, math co-processors were integrated with the CPU, making a stand alone extension obsolete) The eye receptors have the capability of regular vision, infared/thermal imaging, X-Ray imaging and 180 degree reverse vision thanks to small cameras that take photos of the area directly behind Cy-Fox, however the rate the snapping takes is slower than what it would take for Cy-Fox to turn its head or whole body, since the files have to update. They can also be tuned to zoom from 1x to 200x (the rate of a mid 21st century era sniper scope).
Cy-Fox's operating system has a 512-bit architecture and is completely governed by a set of statements and/or commands called a prime directive. There are currently 3 but in special cases there can be 4 or more. Any violation of the operating system's prime directives results in full system shutdown for a delay of a full hour. The operating system also has heuristically based counter-intrusion programs. If Cy-Fox's operating system encounters a malicious computer virus that cannot handle a 512 bit architecture is rendered automatically harmless. The same can occur for hacking attempts. However anything that can interface or handle a 512-bit architecture (such as automated strategic defense computers like SKYNET, or military level programs/hacking tools) can deliver or unconditionally deliver its payload. Sometimes these programs can be restricted to a certain area in the CPU until Cy-Fox can completely shut itself down or be cleaned from an outside source.
Memory is handled by holographic storage and backups such as insulated magnetic or optical storage devices are also in place.
Cy-Fox is immune to small arms fire such as pistol, rifles and shotguns made before or on 2025. There is tolerance to some explosive projectile weapons such as some old rocket or grenade launchers, but other high explosive devices can shock or render Cy-Fox offline. (This would be resolved slightly in Cy-Fox 3). Cy-Fox can also handle high heat up to 200 degrees Farenheit and extreme cold up to 200 below but anything hotter such as molten liquid metal or a highly advanced flamethrower can easily cut through the armor casing. Extreme intolerable cold will lock up motor systems and also cause computer components to become frozen and unable to conduct electricity. Prolonged exposure after that point will cause the brain to completely freeze rendering Cy-Fox brain dead. And without the brain, it wouldn't be a very capable cyborg.
